multiplier asked: I've been looking at small towns near Porto, Portgual which are:
1) quiet, have nice beaches and surfing
2) not big tourist destinations
3) old and weird, as opposed to new/flashy/crowded/loud
4) easy to get around
I've also considered the Dalmatian coast, but it's presumably way too touristy in the summertime at this ...
